What’s included with Google Workspace (formerly G Suite)?
Similar to G Suite, all Google Workspace plans provide a custom email for your business and include collaboration tools like Gmail, Calendar, Meet, Chat, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, Sites and more.
What’s the difference between Google Workspace and Google’s free apps?
With Google Workspace, you'll receive a number of additional business-grade services not included with Google’s free consumer apps. These services include: custom business email @yourcompany, more cloud storage across Gmail and Drive, longer group video meetings with interactive features like polls and recordings, security and administrative controls options like two-step authentication and SSO, business-grade support and more.
Can I purchase individual Google Workspace apps?
No. When you sign up for Google Workspace, you’ll gain access to a set of integrated apps that work together seamlessly. For instance, you can receive a message in Gmail and instantly convert it into a Calendar event. When you make a comment in Docs, Sheets or Slides, collaborators automatically receive email alerts. With a single click, you can join a video meeting in Meet from your inbox or calendar. Using these tools together improves productivity and gives your business the most value. However, you are welcome to purchase Google Workspace and only use the services of your choice.
Does Google Workspace work without an Internet connection?
Yes. Gmail offline lets you read, reply, delete and search your Gmail messages when you’re not connected to the Internet. You can also view and edit documents stored in Drive when offline so that you can be productive from anywhere.
